Ryan is a marketer, author, and all-around creative.

Born in Portland, he's spent time everywhere from the southwest to the Midwest helping people tell their story - whether that's through publishing indie books or marketing for organizations of all sizes. He's an avid podcaster (host of What's Up ABQ), multiple guild founder (the Hannibal Writers Guild and the Barelas Podcasters Guild), and former marketer for the St Louis Writers Guild's Gateway Con.

Ryan believes that in order for 'good art' to receive the attention it deserves it needs its story told to the right people over time - that worthy creative endeavors are lifelong commitments - and that bleeding-edge storytelling is for everyone.

Coming in January will be a new project. I am going to be hosting a weekly live video stream called the Writer's Wrap-Up which will air live on my Discord, Facebook Author Page, Twitch, and my YouTube channel. While it will include a brief update about my works in progress, it will be more of a live interview with other writers, editors, publishers, publicists, as well as people in industries that are related to my story world. The recordings of these shows will then be kept on my website www.davidalanlucas.com.

Each show will be about thirty-minutes (not counting my normal ten-minute lead up as I do with my live streams of writing) and will air every Saturday at 6:00 PM with the first one on January 2, 2021. It will be open to questions from all the viewers.
