The Last Friend--A Horror Short Story"The Last Friend" is a romantic horror about Melody, a woman whose future is just around the corner. She has spent her singing career playing in all the bars she could until finally signing a record deal. Now, on the night before she leaves St. Louis to pursue her dreams, she plays one last time for her fans and her boyfriend, A.Z. Despite being in love, A.Z. is an enigma to her. As she she takes a break between sets, she learns something about A.Z. that may mean this night is her last time singing--or breathing. This story is being sent for possible publication.
